The ZinVolt Core combines 4 kWh of storage, an integrated inverter and smart controls in one compact system. It automatically stores surplus solar power and supplies it to your home when you need it. You can easily add more storage later with ZinVolt Link.

How the ZinVolt home battery works in your home.
See how your solar panels, home, ZinVolt Core, P1-dongle PRO and the grid work together. Choose a scenario to see when electricity is used directly, stored, supplied by the battery or bought at a lower price.
Your home first uses the solar electricity being generated. The surplus then goes to the ZinVolt Core.
Any surplus is automatically stored for later.
This lets you use more of your own solar energy in the evening too.
In the app, you set the price limits for automatic charging and discharging.
During a power cut, connect suitable appliances directly to the Core.

How is the ZinVolt Core installed?
The most common connection uses a dedicated circuit in the consumer unit and an isolator switch by the battery. Our installers position the system, configure it and connect it to the app.
Can the Core also work through a standard socket?
Yes, connection through a standard socket is possible. For most homes, we recommend professional installation using a dedicated circuit and an isolator switch.
Does the ZinVolt Core work with a three-phase connection?
The ZinVolt Core operates on one phase. With a three-phase connection, the battery is connected to the phase that best matches the home’s energy consumption.
How much storage capacity can I choose?
The Core starts at 4 kWh. With up to three ZinVolt Link modules, one tower can reach 16 kWh. Up to three towers can be configured, allowing the system to expand to 48 kWh.
Does ZinVolt work with dynamic electricity prices?
Yes. You can set price limits so the battery automatically charges at low rates and discharges when the electricity price is higher.
How does the backup power feature work?
The Core has a separate backup power output. During a power outage, you can connect suitable appliances directly to this output. The battery does not automatically power the entire home.
What does the P1-dongle PRO do?
The P1-dongle PRO reads your smart meter. This shows ZinVolt how much electricity the home draws from or exports to the grid, so the system can charge or discharge accordingly.
