How expansion works
Easily double your existing Base from 4 to 8 kWh.
You're expanding your existing installation and don't need to purchase a second system. The Stack is added to your current Base, allowing the same tower to now store 8 kWh of energy.
- Check your current Base The expansion module is intended for an existing Base tower with 4 kWh storage.
- Place and connect the Stack Add the module to your Base according to the current manual.
- Use 8 kWh as one system The Base controls the doubled storage and displays everything together in the app.

What is the ZinVolt Stack?
The Stack is an expansion module providing 4 kWh of additional storage for an existing ZinVolt Base. Together, they form a single tower with 8 kWh of storage; the Base continues to provide the inverter and smart control.
Can I use the Stack independently?
No. The ZinVolt Stack requires a ZinVolt Base and cannot function as a standalone home battery or emergency power supply.
Can I use more than one Stack per Base?
One Base Tower starts with 4 kWh and can be expanded to 8 kWh with one Stack. If you need more storage, a suitable number of complete Base systems can be assembled.
Do I need an additional P1 dongle PRO?
No. The Stack becomes part of your existing Base system and uses the same measurement and control. So, a second separate system will not appear in the app.
Can I add the Stack later?
Yes. The Stack is specifically designed to easily expand a Base that currently has 4 kWh to 8 kWh later on. Check the available space beforehand and follow the current installation manual.
How do I see the additional capacity in the app?
After coupling, the Base processes the Stack as part of the same tower. In the ZinVolt app, you then see the total storage of 8 kWh and the combined energy flows.
