Frequently asked questions

Clear answers about ZinVolt Power.

Always check the current product contents, compatibility, and installation conditions before purchasing.

How do I connect the ZinVolt Power at home?

Plug the Power into a suitable wall socket, connect the P1 dongle PRO to the smart meter and add the system in the ZinVolt app. Always follow the included manual and the terms and conditions for the set power.

Can I connect solar panels directly?

Yes. The Power has two PV inputs of a maximum of 600 watts per input. Only use suitable panels and connection materials within the technical limits of the product.

Does the Power work with a single-phase and three-phase connection?

Yes. The Power can be used in homes with both single-phase and three-phase connections. The smart meter reports the total consumption and power fed back to the grid.

Does the Power work without solar panels?

Yes. You can charge the battery via the grid. With a dynamic energy contract, you can charge during cheaper hours and use the stored electricity later.

What happens during a power outage?

The three sockets remain usable as long as the battery has sufficient energy. Devices must be connected directly to the Power. The Power does not automatically take over the entire home.

How do I expand the capacity?

The Power includes 1 kWh of storage as standard. With a maximum of five ZinVolt Mate modules, you can increase the total capacity to a maximum of 6 kWh.

Can I bring the Power?

Yes. The Power is designed to be portable. Before using it in a different location, always check the ventilation, temperature, and connection requirements in the manual.
